March 24, 2020: There are currently no Visitors’ Days scheduled. Please stay tuned for updates.

Since its inception the Martin C. Barell School has conducted Visitors’ Days one day each month. This has afforded family members, teachers, and other interested professionals an opportunity to learn more about the school and its philosophy. On each visit an overview of the agency, its programs, and the Martin C. Barell School is given. The organization of classrooms, ABA model, as well as the model used for speech consultation are discussed in detail. Visitors are given an explanation of the individualized motivational and reinforcement systems as well as the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Each visit includes a tour of The Martin C. Barell School. At the end of the tour the main points of the visit are reviewed and a question and answer forum is provided. Visitors’ Days are generally scheduled on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am.

We do not hold Visitors’ Days in June, July or August.

To attend please call the NSSA office at (631) 462-0386.
