Current Covid-19 Guidance ~ Adult Services ~ March 2022
Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism continues to actively monitor Covid -19 information and guidance from the CDC, the New York State DOH, and OPWDD to address concerns specific to our field and the people we serve. We regularly review and update our response plans and procedures to ensure the health and safety of our families, individuals, and staff while minimizing disruption of our programming. We continue to emphasize best practices for infection control, including wearing appropriate face coverings, maintaining social distance, adhering to the outlined cleaning and disinfecting protocols, and following return to work guidance.
OPWDD emergency regulations remain in place for mask wearing and require all staff, visitors, and individuals receiving services to wear masks at all times outside of eating or exercising, or when physically, medically, or behaviorally unable to so.
