Jason Harris, long-time NSSA consultation student, made a touching presentation today at The Martin C. Barell School when he presented his new video “Jason Harris-Transitioning from High School” and officially ended his time with NSSA and announced his newest venture as a student at Vaughn College of Aeronautic Engineering, Aviation and Technology.

Jason’s friend Chris, an NSSA Adult Service client, began the presentation with a talk about some of his own experiences at NSSA.

NSSA’s Transition Coordinator Jacquie Frangoulis introduced Jason and congratulated him on all his hard work at achieving his goals.

After the video presentation Jason removed his NSSA ID card and replaced it with his new Vaughn College ID.

NSSA’s Quality of Services Depends on the Quality of Our Staff

NSSA Human Resources team members along with some of our management team were excited to be a part of the Health & Wellness Career Fair at the Suffolk Y JCC on June 1. At NSSA we believe that the quality of our services depends on the quality of our staff. That is why NSSA will continually be hosting and participating in community recruitment events to connect with individuals who would like to be a part of an organization that is devoted to helping individuals with autism reach their full potential.

NSSA offers a range of positions in both a full and part-time capacity throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties. We are currently accepting resumes for Certified Teachers, Direct Support Professionals, Respite Staff & Certified Special Education Teachers.
